Paws for HUMANKIND.

Our Mission

The Preston’s Planet Foundation is a CA non-profit 501c3, that is inspired by a little dog named Preston and his desire to leave a pawsitive pawprint on the world.

Our mission is to rescue, protect and train animals, with a focus on domesticated animals who provide service, therapy, and companionship to people in need.

We are passionate about the potential for animals to heal and benefit humankind, with our love, guidance, and positive reinforcement training.

We endeavor to help animals leave a pawsitive impact on deserving women and children, by supporting the human-animal bond with service dog training, therapy dog outreach and free community education.

Our first major initiative is a massive one ~
we are proudly partnering with Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area
, to help fulfill the wish of an 8 year old girl named Cienna, who was diagnosed with lymphoma and wished to have a white Pomeranian puppy, just like Laura’s beloved Preston.

Laura will be transporting this special Pomeranian from Phoenix, AZ back to Los Angeles, CA to begin training the puppy. She will then road trip 10 hours to the northernmost part of California to meet Cienna, deliver the puppy, and begin the puppy’s training with its new family.

The Preston’s Planet Foundation has committed to a lifetime of training support for Cienna’s new puppy, in addition to the cost of the puppy’s initial training and management supplies.

As The Preston’s Planet Foundation grows, we hope to provide many more life-saving, task-trained assistance dogs, at little to no cost, to deserving women and children.

We are just getting started, and look forward to a lifetime of service.

Love doggedly,

Laura Nativo, CPDT-KA KPA CTP
